Hi,

A client of ours is having a Mitel 3300 CXi 2 system installed next week and is looking for us to write a simple monitoring application that automatically displays an application when a call is received.

So, the question is whats the best practice for doing this? The application would be written in C# (though could be C++ if pushed).

Just a clue where to start would be great!!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Graham

There is a primer for data capture on the Mitel web site, can you get the vendor to download it for you. UC express andUC also interface this for you if you intend to reinvent the wheel and do screen popping of called number etc. Also depending on phones there is a HTML access to the phone for applications.

SMDR will work fine for this, and is easy to capture on port 1752 when enabled on handset and trunk CoS
