Hi there,

I have several clients that are calling and wanting me to setup or exclude the holidays from backing up. I know to go into the advanced scheduling and exclude the days. However this creates a new backup job and at also runs the back up immeditealy. Any common pratices for this?

Thanks
Jeff

Hello,
If you have this job running every day. From the active monitor screen. You can highlight the job, right click on it and the time schedule will be there. You can uncheck Wednesday and then the job would run every day you have checked. except the wednesday you unchecked. You can even do the same thing to go into job properties from active monitor and click on advanced scheduling. I usually have my Full backups start on Wednesday. I just went into each property and changed the date to do my full for Thursday. hope this helps...blonde
