OLAP tools are tools for online analytical processing. These tools are used for data analysis that helps to understand complex data and see insights in it. OLAP tools include different methods of working with data, represented in a form of multidimensional OLAP cube. List of OLAP tools includes:
Slicing is an OLAP tool that allows to create smaller subcubes from main OLAP cube by choosing single value on one dimension.
Dicing is also an OLAP tool that creates a subcube but by picking values on multiple dimensions.
Drilling Down/Up tool allows to navigate between the most summarized and the most detailed data.
Roll-up OLAP tool summarizes data on one cube dimension.
Pivoting allows users to see data from different perspectives by rotating the cube.
