Hi guys,

This is probably simpler than I am making it, have a legend with cke5 proc 6 port merlin messaging and 6 408 gs/ls cards.

We have two groups, customer service and everyone else. I need to have customer service calls on their 6 lines ring all the phones in customer service, then if no answer transfer to the receptionist.

The rest of the calls would be answered by the receptionist directly then transferred to its destination.

I already have the lines in pools so that customer service only uses their own lines for outgoing calls, and everyone else gets the other pool.

I was thinking I could just program a pool button on the cs phones set to immediate ring and then put a primary coverage on the receptionist/operator phone with a delayed ring but it starts ringing on the second ring. Is there a more sensible way to do this?

Thanks

Assuming you have a R7 Legend or later, use 2ndary coverage (not Primary) and set the 2ndary coverage to more rings.

IF that donesn't work, set a T&R Station up as primary coverage and then do the 2ndary thing.
