Hello all, I've a customer with a Magix Rel3, with 44xx sets, a 4424LD at the receptionist postion. She tells me when she's on a call and receives another call, she says the console rings once and then flashes(as it's supposed to?) Haven't done much with the 44xx series, but the office manager wants something better in order to pickup more of the calls and not for them to go to VM. I'm thinking of primary coverage buttons on a couple of phones to see if that works for them. Anyone with a different opinion? Thanks In Advance.

The first thing I would change would be to turn off abreviated ring, under Central Programming, her extension ring options.

Duhhh....thanks Merlinman, once again I was looking to reinvent the wheel. I'll give it a shot and see how they like that first before I go further.

I usually do that, but I do not tell the operator what I have done.

Then, MAGICALLY, she is able to take more calls.
