Hello,

I have a customer who needs to move office in a hurry, so their new services like ADSL etc are not available just at the moment.

We plan to use a 3g USB mobile connection in the interim and wondered what the best method for this might be?

Would routing and remote access offer the load balancing to determine which connection is alive and then route via the 3g dongle accordingly?

any assistance would be great!

thanks

What router are you supplying

I'd supply a router that will do both DSL and supports 3G dongles.

Be aware though that 3g dongles do not give a public IP address. They are NATted to a private (non routable) IP address on the 3g carrier network. (Unless you pay big money)

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
