Best Method of developing reports for VB

Thanks in advance.
Can anybody suggest what is the best method of developing reports in a large VB project. Should I keep the reports out of the VB project by developing reports in RPT form or should I integrate it in VB through RDC.

Please suggest me which is the best method of crystal reports to connect it with VB. Whether it is through RDC or RPT.
