I am deploying an Access 2007 application that is the Front end of an enterprise SQL server DB. The application is shared by multiple sites so I located the application on a shared network server and all plants can execute that file. The issue is from remote sites forms etc are slow to update etc. If the application is located on the local server for each plant when executed it performs very well. The question I have should each user at the local sites have the application on their desk top machine or is it acceptable for the users to run the application from the local server to reduce logistical issues when updates to the application occur. I have one application with less than four concurrent users at each site and another application that could have to 30 concurrent users.
Thank you
