Hi all,
I recently decided to have a look at XML and am excited about what it can do. I went to Google and looked for a free editor. To my surprise hundreds came up, some ofering a free trial but alot absolutely free.

Has anyone tested the free editors ?
I f so can anyone point me towards the best that they have found ?

I'm pretty new to XML but have done some PERL and other stuff in the past.

Thanks
Ian

I downloaded Bonfire and XmEdil (both free) and like both.

Bonfire is quick and slick but the help is rather basic. ckaXmEdil seems to be a more substantial package with comprehensive help. Both companies reply to e-mails very intelligently and promptly.

I can recommend either with a slight preference for XmEdil.
