Best after-market add-on program for FMPro

I am new user of FileMaker Pro 5.5.

I am interested in doing some stuff that it seems FMPro cannot do without add-on support programs

Whats the best programs to help pro do the following

Script - Automatic back-up of 24/7 running server program
Script - Automatic report building and saving PDF file

As far as the automatic backup of the 24/7 server program, if it's the FM files running under FM Server you can schedule automatic backups to the hard drive, or another computer. Use the FM console program that comes with FM Server to schedule it.

If you want that backup off of the server, i.e. on tape backup, you will need to use a third party for that. I know that Seagate backups can schedule their backups to tape.

For the report building, it would depend on the report(s) you want. You can create a script in FM to check for a specific time and when that time occurs, it can run the report for you.
