I've developed a bespoke web browser using VB. I've made the relevant registry changes so that my browser opens *htm *html files by default.

However, when I'm vewing a web page in the bespoke browser and I click a link that opens a new window, Internet Explorer opens the page and not my bespoke browser.

Any ideas how to stop this happening.

Cheers

John

Change the web associations in the tools > folder options > view tab.

Is it the Managing Pairs of Web Pages option. If so, that never worked.

Sorry, it's from My Computer > tools > folder options > file types. Then go to htm and change the file that opens them to your browser.
