What would be the best way to connect a FORUM CONFERENCE BRIDGE to a NORSTAR SYSTEM?...since the ATA's do not have the Disconnect Suppervision feature?

Thank you

Michael Leardini

Can you use the Norstar Audio Conferencing unit? It connects to a digital port.

the vmi didnt work well on the last one i installed ..forum sent upgraded chips 3 times and finally customer threw the 2 bridges away ..my other customer knows when he wants to use his he must cycle power to bridge to free ports...now this is going back 2 years and alas we dont sell anything hell we dont have any customer anymore but since vmi is manufacturer discontiued and ata has no disconnect supervision i would say pots lines or outside conference vendors

Thanks LUV2SKI. Arr, this is a Conference Bridge not a Conference Unit. I know that about 9 months ago I've seen some talk (here on this forum) about some ATA's made by someone other than Nortel and they have DS. Thanks.

Konexx makes several ATA's that work with Norstar, and I believe they have DS.
