Every so often my NT server slows down to a crawl and must be rebooted to start working normally again. When checking task manager for the apps that are using the most memory I find beserver.exe at the top of the list. Can anyone give me some background on this file? I believe it is a file that runs when MS Exchange is running. Any tips on how to avoid the bog down in server service would be appreciated.

This program is related to BackupExec. It has been a while, but I think we experienced this when BackupExec was waiting for some type of manual intervention, such as a tape change.
