Recently upgraded to BES 4.0... MDS was running and now its not. Email works great. Cingular Browser works, BB Browser doesn't. Not much in the Event Logs (service cannot be found). We did rename the server (in BB console) from SvrName_BlackBerry to SvrName. When starting Service with admin tools (or BB console) it acts like it is starting but doesn't.

I found the resolution here. Mine was case 3.
This didn't 'google up', I found the link on a Swiss Blackberry site. Apparently BB/RIM is aware of this problem.
I've enjoyed running my own thread here. This BB stuff is new and expensive so I guess there isn't many working own it. Webmaster can mark this as solved?
