BES 4.0 for Lotus Domino

Hello! I'm hoping someone here will know the answer to my question. I attended a Blackberry seminar recently that covered all the new features of BES 4.0

In going over the notes that I took, I wrote that for a small shop, MSDE needs to be on the server (vs. SQL Server). I thought I remembered that they said that MSDE comes in the BES software bundle. But on the Blackberry website, under system requirements, it says that MSDE must already be on the server, giving me the impression that we need to purchase it separately. Does anyone know which is true?

You don't need MSDE or SQL server for the Domino version. The Domino version of BES keeps the user info in their nsf file as well as it create 2 additional DB's in domino for pin to email mapping and something else I can't remember at this time.
