BENQ LCD monitor display problems

Hi techies,

i have got a problem all of a sudden my BENQ LCD monitor has started acting up. it wont display for more than five seconds. i have to keep turning it on and off to get a display that will last for just five seconds then the screen goes black. it has puzzled me because i dont know where to begin troubleshooting, i have taken it and connected it to other systems units but it just continues acting up. it wont hold for five seconds.

help me out yo am in dire straits,

It's probably defective. If it's still under warranty, then RMA it for a replacement.
