Hello,

Is there a way to bend a text frame so that the words make a curve or "U" shape? or is that something I would have to do in photoshop?

Thank you.

...illustrator would be better really if you have it...

...although saying that you can create it in photoshop, save out as a vector eps and vector will be preserved (save a psd version too if you need to edit it later), of course this will render a background white if you need it on top of something, so you will need to create a background in photoshop or multiply it in Indesign...

Thanks. I did find "warp text" in photoshop which worked great. I just brought in the background, created the warped text over it and then save as a tif. Then I placed the .tif into indesign. Seemed to work well. I do have Illustrator but I have never used it. Perhaps I will explore it.

Click and hold rectangular frame tool for the flyour menu. Select the elipse tool and draw the shape (hold shift key whil drawing for circle.

Click anhd hold text tool for type on path tool. put insertion point where you want on the elipse and type teh words.

Go to Help/Search/type on path as there are mnay things you can do but it take getting used to and learning all the options.
