I was able to install 62.00 from Avaya and now I can no longer do this. Any other resources so I can use it on my Windows 7?

"A phone is a phone and not a computer workstation".

I use Windows 7 32 bit with Element Manager 62.0.5 without any problems. However my works laptop which is also Windows 7 has the same version and it takes a good 5 minutes to load up. I'm certain that I have a Java problem. However, I've also loaded up the older "Nortel Business Element Manager" version of 60.2.0 that loads up as normal. I tend to use this version on my works laptop for most of my customer sites as I don't have many that are the newer releases.

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Thanks. Do you have a link that I can use to DL the program. I tried Avaya but kept getting and error.

The latest software is available at..

Let me know if you require the older version as it's a large file, if you can't locate it on the Avaya website.

Is it not working correctly or are you not able to install it at all? I have to put mine in My Documents rather than the usual C:\Program Files on Windows 7 because of how the company set up permissions.

Thanks. I will DL it and see what happens. I am using a XP laptop in the field.

I use to be able navigate so easily on the AVAYA website for docs and downloads. I have registered with them but their website search doe not find what I need and the wasy to use A-Z listing for support is gone.

Sometimes I get a notice that I have to contact their system admin.

Thanks. Is this on an Avaya site?

It is yes but you need to be an Authorized dealer for software downloads.

It is also on the BCM itself.
Connect to the BCM's browser page via IP address and download EM from there.
If you upgrade patches to the BCM then EM is sometimes updated as well so you can check once patches installed.

Firebirds link is best to use always though and just check for updates.
