HI!

Search the forum for a tip, but didn't find... so I'm asking:

We own 3 AVAYA PARTNER 18D. We are with Bell Canada for the voice mail. I want to make the Message Light indicate if there's messages in the mailbox. I know there's a different dial tone when messages are in the box... can you help me please?

Thank you in advance,

Hi Sybil,
What type of processor do you have? The Partner PVM small is a four mailbox voicemail with one attendant (no seperate day and night message). It will plug into an ACS processor and is very reasonable in cost.

Hi all and so far, even though I am a bit sad It won't work with my actual Bell's voice mail.

itpphoneguy, I tried searching for the processor type, but could not find it!

model is 103G13/G14 (28)

don't know if it'll help.

thx and keep on posting!

If you have an ACS, press Feature and dial 50 at any display phone. The display will show you your release.

Or go off hook at any phone, press Feature and dial #1. You will hear a series of Touch-Tone 1's. Count the number and pattern of the tones, and post back. I will be able to tell you your processor and release.

Hi and thanks again!

first (I search the docs!) and found that it says: «From a system phone with an LED display, press f 5 9.»

P ACS R5.0 C01

that's what it shows! And it matches the tone I heard with #1 (2 * 5 tones)

Hi Rene,
Okay, There are two card slots in the processor. The first is the backup/restore/remote access card. The second empty slot will accept the voice mail card I had mentioned. Talk to a dealer in your area for a price. The card simply plugs in (turn the power off first). The voice mail ports (extensions) will be 78 & 79. You need to program those first. Let us know if you are going to pursue that option. We will answer your questions.
