Belkin Wireless I can WWW but not see other computers?

I have installed a wireless router (on XP PRO) and then installed a Belkin wireless card in my Laptop (XP Pro). I can access the internet from both computers, but neither machine sees the other?

The laptop has a visable network connection (Network Neighnorhood) but, my desktop now has no Network connections listed (not even my Cable modem network)?

Is this possible (of course) and can anyone please give me some help in fixing this?
