1. I've set up a query that requests the user to enter a value for the criteria. I'd rather have the user pull down a criterion from a combo box - but I just can't seem to get it right. I know this is an easy one - but I'm stuck.

2. When I run the queries, I want the users to view the results immediately. How would I code that.

Thanks a bunch.

Actually you can kill this bird with the same stone. Use a continuous form to display the results of the query and a combobox to set the form's filter property from it's afterupdate event procedure.

Jerry,
I'm trying to do just this on my Access database. Could I get some insight into how to do this. I have a set up three combo boxes that query down through information and now i need to know how to get the information related to the record to populate.

Thanks for in suggestions

Karen
