Can anyone recommend a good beginner's book to cisco configuration, rouing, etc...

I am working with a 2610 and have no idea what I'm doing or I'm trying to config.

I have the Ip Routing Little black book, it is a really good book. It's bailed me out of trouble more than I care to admit.

You may also want to try (Cisco A Beginner's Guide)it's about
