Hi,
I am a beginner when it comes to cabeling, routing, switching, hubing, and anything else. I feel I will soon need to know things like this. Does anyone know of any good websites that I could go to to learn these things. Or of any REALLY good books that I could buy? I would really apprecieate the help.

Thankx,

Michael

Try the BICSI cabling manuals.Barnes&Noble usually stock them.

Another idea would be to make buddies in offices and maybe college campus.....ask questions and look around, make mental notes about how things are layed out and what looks nice...

I know for me, visiting HAM Radio friends with the Telco let me see what they did in the switch office, plus alot of hands on here at work has led me to some common things being "redone" to save work later....
