We are learning to use SQL Server. We know that Access and SQL can be used together but we are getting a write error. Is there any other way of designing a user interface that is more efficient that Access or is there a way to use Access that will not result in the write error?

Use Visual Basic as your front end. using ADO as the connection. much better and faster then access..

Is there any other information in the error message? What are you doing that causes the error? Are you running a query, linking a table, using VBA code???? It is very hard to give advice with so little info.

The following link is a great resource for developers using Access and SQL together.
