Beginner,looking to create some tables

I just want to create some tables

I beleive I need to go to Query Analyzer, and since my OS is win 98, I am to select the option for SQL server authentication, but when I click ok my computer tries to connect ei. //computer...

My computer is not on a network, and all I want to do is create some tables, please help!

What is the name in the SQL Server: box in the connect dialog? For a local connection try the actual computer name, (local) or a single period '.' without the quotes. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
