I am VERY much a beginner and would like to find some resource (class, book....) that would start at the beginning. I often record Macros in Excel, but I can't edit them in any way. Any suggestions for how to learn the basics?

Hi, skygirl,

1) Search this site for this topic. It's been answered many times.

2) Each person has their own learning style, so one guys fab book is another's dud. That being stated, I like John Walkenbach --
3) the BEST teacher is experience. use the macro recorder. view the code. change the code bit by bit and see what happens. EXPERIMENT! DO!

4) view posts with stars in this forum. try some new stuff. EXPERIMENT! DO!

Post back and enjoy!
