I have been running a tiny home network with BEFW11S4 and a WPC11 in my laptop with no problems what so ever. Cable modem to BEFW11S4 and port4 to PC.

Now I want to have the end result of connecting to a Linksys USB200M plugged into my TiVo HR10-250 with the usb port enabled. I've been told there is no way for the BEFW11S4 to talk directly to the USB200M.

I've also been told that the only way to do it is to use a "bridge". So as directed, I purchased a Netgear ME101 bridge. This is where the problems start. I have tried to follow the directions for the bridge, but as soon as I connect the ethernet cable into the back of the BEFW11S4, I not only don't get connected to the bridge, but I lose my regular internet connection as well. Sometimes my PC will recognize the bridge and sometimes it doesn't without changing anything.

Is there something I am missing about the configuration of the BEFW11S4 or the Netgear ME101? Why would I lose my internet connection? Do I need to do something in 192.168.1.1?

Any and all suggestions welcome

Thanks
Mark
