Hello everyone,

I have 4 devices connected:
2 Linksys hubs,
BEFSX41 firewall/router, and
a DSL modem.
I want to use a Sonic firewall instead of Linksys. But a Sonic firewall doesn't have a router funtionality. I still need a switch or a router to connect the hubs and a new firewall.
I was wondering, can I disable all the functions except a router in BEFSX41 and still use it in my setup? If yes, how would I do it?

Thank you very much,

Claire

As far as not using the firewall in the linksys, you should open all ports to be allowed through.

You also could use the sonicwall plus the linksys, just be sure to open the ports on both devices.

Thanks,

Jon
