BEFSX41 & WRT54G

need help setting them up?
i have cable modem
need to know how ro link them so i get internet through them both.

The BEFSX41 should be a gateway, and handle authentication and handshaking with the modem with a local IP of 192.168.1.1, subnet 255.255.255.0. It should have DHCP enabled.

Take a cable from one of the BEFSX41 Lan ports and plug it into the Uplink Port of the WRT54G. Set the WRT54G to have a static IP of 192.168.1.2, Disable DHCP, select Router and not Gateway.

Done.

thamks but got the internet part, but cant communicate through the wireless to the router

i cant ftp from laptop on the wireless to desktop on the router

need more help thanks
