Howdy...
I had a network setup two years ago at home.
2 Computers running Windows XP.
I had everything set up well and things were going smoothly. I had entered the Modem's MAC address into the router as that is the only way I could get the router to get an IP address, however, it doesn't seem to be working anymore.
I've plugged everything in, I've forwarded the MAC address to the router, but the router will not take the IP address from the clone. I feel like I've tried everything from shutting everything down, unplugging everything to doing everything in a different order.
Recap:
All my computers are fine with receiving IP address from the router, but my router will not receive the IP address from my momem.
I've tried cloning the MAC address and I've tried not cloning it. I don't know how else to get around this.
Everything is configure DHCP.
Thanks,
Alex
