beeping in meridian mail cabinet

We have an Option 11c switch with a separate cabinet for Meridian Mail. Something in the MM cabinet has started intermittent beeping in the last few days. There are no signs of problems with the operation of the mail system itself, just this obnoxious beeping which is driving us crazy. Any ideas what this could be? Should we think about replacing the hard drive or some other card?

If it's in the mail, probably gonna be the HD, which would make more of a screeching, grinding noise
