Has anyone with a Queue system seen(heard)this issue. On our agents with 2216 sets w/ Amps with a/c power. A call will come in without the beep tone to indicate this. Next thing my reps know.. there has been a call 'live' for the last 40 seconds.

Any thoughts on this one? I have another doozy later... :)

Yes in ld 23 you have prompt to force a caller to agent so soon as call comes to a Q caller will be connected to agent
And the prompt is FORC
And then you have timer at can be o seconds to 30
Hope this helps

The call is already being forced or it wouldn't be there. I don't know why your not getting the beep.

THAT'S WHAT Q-TIPS ARE FOR!

Cute Perry, somedays I want to tell the people that. :)

Some of the other techs higher in my command, state the Amps might be to blame. They state, the amp "falls" asleep and when a call comes in.. it wakes up, but it doesn't have the juice to power the beep. (All my amps use power blocks)

I am beginning to think the Queue side/config is screwed.

Falling asleep doesn't sound logicial, have you checked to see if the switches or sliders on the AMP are set right. I know strange things happen if there not. The brand we use has a slider that we set to 4 and a screw setting that is adjustable.
