I'm getting an alternate hi and low tone set of beeps from my Asus P3B-F motherboard. (kinda like the European emergency vehicles warning sirens) I have checked the following on an identical MB and they are ok: power supply, Processor, memory, all jumper/switch settings and memory card. Processor fan is connected to CPU fan and NOT PWR fan.
These beeps occur with ALL cards out of All slots and no drives or CD-ROMS or floppy drives connected. I have removed battery to reset BIOS defaults. I'm at a loss here, anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,

Make sure your keyboard and mouse are not backwards. Also
check the cpu fan connection and if you can get into the bios check the cpu temp monitoring warning and make sure it is not set too low.

The dual tone on Asus boards is usually associated with fan speed

Either CPU overtemp (or the BIOS thinks so) or CPU fan warning (or the BIOS thinks so) OR bad Winbond sensor under the CPU (IF there is one, which is likely)
