Beep API functtion under win95

Hi,
There is a function in Kernel32.dll called "Beep(freq as Long, Duration as Long)".
But both parameters ignored by Windows 95.
What can I use instead for getting "beep" of any frequence and duration?
Beforehand 10x for any help
