been doing vb for 4 years.. questions about vb script..

first off.. thanks for checking out my post

ok ive been doing visual basic for about 4 years and i would liek to think im pretty good at it. i have never really looked into vb script. so i was woundering if you guys could tell me some of the diffrences and how much harder/easyer/diffrent it is from visual basic.. is it somehting i should look into? will it help out my webpage skills alot? ive also been doing webpages for about 3 years but never learned any other languages.. will visual basic help me make databases? forms? what exactly is vbscript all about? do you know any tutorial links for vb'er learning vbscript? thanks for your time and answers/links will be greatly appreciated. in the begining man created code.

also.. can this be used to make nice guestbooks and interactive sites ... i really have no idea what vbscript is able to do.. can you give me some examples.. perhaps show me some pages that use vbscript? any help/information is much appreciated.. thanks! in the begining man created code.

ok will my creations have to ask them permission to use what i make? also should i check out asp instead? and is there things like bas files for vbscript to make it so i dont have to retype out hella code? thanks for the help once again in the begining man created code.
