Hello,

I am planning on starting my own Computer/Network support business and I am wondering how do you go about becoming an Authorized Service Providers for Dell or Hp or Toshiba.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would have to say that you contact Dell or Hp or Toshiba and ask them what their requirements are to become an Authorized Service Provider.

They're the only ones that can tell you what they want.

Hope This Helps!

Thanks for your response ECAR. I will try that and see what I can find out.

Yeah... I know that Dell has their own certification thing... I will be becoming Dell certified in December.

Hi gbaughma,

What does this Dell certification consist of? Do you have a link that can provide any info on how to get it? Thanks for your response... Tom3077

I'm sorry to say that my certification is being scheduled by the corporate office; so until I actually take it (sometime in December), I haven't a *clue* about it. <lol>

The Dell certs are mostly around letting Enterprise customers request warranty replacement parts direct without having to speak to Dell support, as well as for field engineers to prove their knowledge. Not sure Dell actually have an Authorized Service Provider type programme, they're focused on direct sales/support.
