what happened here??
I have great photos from a dig. camera (jpg) that look and print beautifully when placed in AI. But when those same pics are opened in PS - they are terribley pixelated.... especially as I downsize the image size. I've tried unsharp mask and all those tweaks. But the image is just useless. My problem lies here: The effects I want are in PS - but the pic opens best on AI. arghh!!! I've tried everything! Even opening the nice clean pic in AI, moving it to PS (where the pic just goes to crap)to apply effect, then moving back to AI (where the pic looks just as bad as it did in PS.
Anyone might be able to shed some light on this?
Thanks -

Post it and let someone else try it. If you don't have webspace, send it to me: jredekop@uwindsor.ca and I'll see what I can do.

You could always take the long route. Open it in Illustrator, get it at 100% so that it fits the screen. Press Print Screen, and paste it into PS then crop it down. [deejay]
