BE causes domino error

I'm running BE 8.0 on a server which also has Lotus Domino Server running. Most days a user will receive the following error when trying to access their mail database in Notes:

Database is in use by another user.

I've already confirmed that the problem is that the Backup Exec Service account accesses one of the database files during the backup and somehow locks the file, or fails to release it.

A restart of the Domino Server always fixes the problem.
I've loaded the Notes Agent but the problem still arises.

Has anyone had similar problems with this? Is there a lock setting which may eliminate it?

Any help appreciated.

I just tried changing the locking option from Backup open files with a lock to Backup open files if closed within 180 seconds.

I'll post results

This worked perfectly.
The Domino error no longer appears.
