BE 9.1 Waiting to finish until tape is removed 1

I have a client that has a Dell PowerEdge 2600 server running Windows 2003 Server and BE 9.1 build 4651. The entire backup and verify takes aprox 1.5 hours. But the "job" doesnt complete until the tape is removed from the tape drive. Anyone have any ideas?

You can configure Backup Exec to automatically respond to alerts.

Select Tools from the menu then select Configure Alert Categories.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

I think you have the job set to automatically eject the tape and there is an alert to respond to to remove the media. NortonES2 is correct. Use the beutility
