Greetings...

All of sudden with no configuration changes taking place ... BE 9.0 is skipping
SQL files, Program Files, TMP files all because they are in use ...
We have the SQL Agent installed - and it worked just fine up until about
3 weeks ago ...
What gives?

Below a snippet of the error message:

I take it these messages get generated when doing the file backups of the C: and D: drives?

Check to make sure that your job is setup to backup open files with a lock. This won't necessarily fix the messages, but backup exec will try and backup the file if there is no lock on the file already.

I also wouldn't worry about these messages, as they are not needed during a restore of the system.
Just make sure you are backing up SQL databases using the SQL agent and you will be fine.
