BE 9.0 Job Log / History

I am confused about the job log and job history on BE 9.0. A job generates a log file in both xml and html format that is in "c:/program files/veritas/backup exec/nt/data" directory. When I go to the Job Monitor console and delete the old job history from the Job History Pane. It removes only the xml file and leaves the html file alone.

Can anyone please clear this up for me.
