we are running BE 8.5 with the echange agent. Its now running onto 2 tapes and I am trying to fit it back onto one.
If all the mailboxes are backed up individually (i.e. selecting 'Microsoft exchange mailboxes') is there any need to also backup the 'mailbox Store' within the 'Microsoft information Store / First Storage Group' ? Is this not a case of backing up the same thing twice and hence using twice the amount of space on the tape ?
also, how often should I backup the 'system state' ? every night or just after system changes ?
