BE 8.5 unable to log in, Begin SMS errors, Error attaching to device

Hello,

I have BE 8.5 on several Novell 5.0 servers. I manage the bakups from our main server. Does BE use Novells SMS, SME, or TSA's in any way? If not can I disable or unload these Novell Services?

I get the the following errors on different servers at random.

1. Unable to log in to device 'servername'.Novell Directory/'Organization'
Enter another password.

2. Error attaching to device 'Servername'.Netware File System/'Servername/Server specific info:. The device may not be available at this time.

3. Begins SMS errors:
A Transport Failur Has occured

You do need the TSA's loaded on the remote NetWare server
TSANDS.NLM, TSA500.NLM, SMDR.NLM.
If backing up a remote NetWare server, you need BEREMOTE.NLM loaded.

If this is Backup Exec for Netware, use BEJOBED to update the password for the backup Job or recreate the Backup Job.
