Hello.

Developping BDE applications (with BDE5.11), I try to test the compatibility with win2000 and there were no problem at the begining ... but tying to launch numbers of BDE applications (perhaps 3 or 5 but it depends (!) and so several BDE sessions) i have a "not enough memory message". Then i can not launch the BDE administrator if i not close some applications.

I try it on Win2000 with 32Mo,64Mo and 128Mo RAM and i have the same bug.
I try to change the BDE parameters but without results.

I test it with Win95,Win98 and WinNT with 32Mo and have no bug ...

Does someone have an explanation ?? is this a known BDE problem ? [sig][/sig]

I cannot test your problem. But for my experience BDE is a fat DB engine(eat much more memory^_^),now the ADO is a good choice.Of course you can wait for Borland's dbExpress.
