I made an application in Delphi 6 that use Access database. For the connection to the database I used BDE alias.
At the begining everything worked just fine on my PC. But when I install my application on other PC, that don't have installed Delphi on it, I have trouble. I goes through installation process without any mistakes. All files are on the right places and BDE alias have right path to the database.
But when I try to start application I get a message: BDE Error 8458 - Cannot load an IDAPI service library. I was trying to solve this problem and I reinstall Delphi 6 on my PC. Now I get same error on my Pc too. Can anybody help me, please ?
