What is the easiest way to demote a BDC to a standalone server?

No such thing as a BDC demotion.

Reinstall server software as standalone server.

I just found out that the NT 4.0 Resource Kit's Setup Manager will allow a BDC demotion to a standalone server in the domain. Don't know if it will work correctly but I'll give it a shot.

There is a utility called Upromote. PDC/BDC to Standalone, standalone to PDC/BDC. Works great. Sorry don't have url handy.
