To most of you this is a real easy one. To me. . . . well, I've recently setup a BDC - NT4(sp5). Working fine. I installed IIS. I'm tryin' to get the FTP server to function. I can run FTP Clients/commands from around the network, but when it comes to the 'enter password' it throws me out every time.
- Ive changed anonymous to only anonymous, that didn't work. Changed the password. That didn't work either.
I would appreciate anyone's expertise/advice on this one. Thanks a lot.
Right click the Default FTP site. Check the Username under directory security, make sure that account has rights to read and write if ftp upload. Mkae sure you can log onto the console with that account, and verify the password set in the ftp properties. The ftp user account also needs 'Log on locally' permission.
Note, if the ftp user account is a domain account, you must enter the password manually , it will not automatically sync.
On the home directory tab, make sure read is checked.
