Hai,

I have a question regarding BCN router. My customer is using a 8MB v 13.0 Flash Card. Currently the customer free size is less than 1MB (after I have Compact) the Flash Card.
I have an AN with 8MB Flash Card and less than 2MB free space and the ISDN protocol/bat do not work. While for the BCN, with the less than 1Mb, the ISDN protocol/bat still works fine. I would like to suggest for the customer to upgrade the Flash Card to 16MB, but they have requested why must they upgrade. I've no exposure with BCN, thus I am unable to give any reasons.

Help is needed.

Thanks

Hi

The BCN uses the flash card to store config and code files, I cannot see why the amount of free space on it would affect the operation of the ISDN.
I suppose there might be a RAM size issue, but it is more likely to be a problem with the config.

Has it ever worked?

:),

Well, in the BCN case the ISDN works fine. But in the ARN router case, the Flash Card free space was less than 2mb and the ISDN won't works. The layer1 is active and the call did go throug but not the protocol. After I del some file and compact again the Flash card to 2mb only, then it works.

I don't know why.
