The customer cannot get BCMSVU client to connect with the BCMSVU server. They are technically on the same network/domain but have different subnets. The exact quote from the Customer IT
"By network do they mean “Switch network” , “Domain” or “Subnet”?

If they mean Switch Network or Domain no problem

If they mean subnet, we’ve got a problem and that is a serious limitation of BCMSVu"

Again the question is does the BCMSVU client and server have to have the same subnet.

Having the exact same issue. Was working fine when they were all on the same subnet, but we just created VLANs and now they sit on different subnets. Connects to server briefly, then drops. I just deleted the server connection and tried to add a new one to the same server, and it failed.

Can anyone confirm subnet issue? Is it a port or firewall issue?

Thanks!
