do you need to know hte commands for inter vlan routing for the switching exam and if so what are the commands??
 
I cant tell you if that question will specificaly apear on your exam, but yes this is things you should know, and to route between vlans simply issue the command ip routing!!

You should always check Cisco's website for the latest information when you are preparing for any exam. If you haven't been there already, I strongly encourage you to so that you can check out what you need to know.

Inter-VLAN routing is a major section in the BCMSN exam. Remember this exam is about multilayer switching, not just layer two switching. From Cisco's website:

"Implement Inter-VLAN routing.

Explain and configure Inter-VLAN routing (i.e., SVI and routed ports).
Explain and enable CEF operation.
Verify or troubleshoot InterVLAN routing configurations."
